The group of viruses that causes disease in mammals and birds. The name Coronavirus is derived from the Latin word Corona which means Crown or Wreath. In humans, this virus is transmitted from human to human via the droplets generated by Sneezing and Coughing. In humans Coronavirus causes mild Respiratory Tract infections such as Common Cold. In rare cases it is also known to cause lethal infections like SARS, MERS and COVID 19. This virus can be viewed under 2D Transmission Electron Microscopy.
